Looking for a classic Bubble Shooter game online? This browser version keeps the familiar match-three loop: aim a bubble at the field, connect three or more of the same color, and clear as much of the board as you can before it reaches the bottom.
What makes a Bubble Shooter game “classic”?
A classic bubble shooter gives you a launcher at the bottom of the screen and a pattern of colored bubbles above it. You fire one bubble at a time. When it joins at least two bubbles of the same color, the connected group pops. Any bubbles left hanging without a connection to the top can fall away as well.
The rules are simple, but the board creates the puzzle. A color match near the middle may remove only a few bubbles. A smaller match near a narrow support can release a much larger section. Side-wall bounces add another option when a direct path is blocked.
Play Bubble Shooter online in your browser
Use the game at the top of this page to start a round. It runs in a modern browser, so there is no app to install and no account to create. On a computer, move the pointer to aim and click to shoot. You can also press Space to fire and R to start a fresh game. On a phone or tablet, aim with touch and tap to shoot.
The board shows your current score, shots and best score. Your personal best stays in this browser. When a round ends, you can choose a nickname and submit the result to the public leaderboard. See all controls and rules if this is your first game.
How this version’s board works
This site uses an arcade-style round. Match bubbles to clear groups, and watch the lowest bubbles because reaching the danger line ends the run. Six shots without a match push the field down by one row; making a match resets that miss counter. That pressure makes an empty shot a decision: if you cannot match now, place the bubble where it keeps a useful lane open.
The scoring is also specific to this version: bubbles removed in a match are worth 10 points each, while detached bubbles that fall are worth 20 each. Other games called Bubble Shooter may use different point systems, levels or special bubbles. Our scoring guide explains these rules in detail.
Three habits that make the classic game more rewarding
- Check the next bubble. Set up a useful match for the color after the one in your launcher.
- Look above the target. A small group may be holding up many bubbles; removing its support can create a large drop.
- Use a wall bounce with purpose. Bank a shot when it opens a real path to a match, not just because the angle looks clever.

Why people return to classic bubble shooters
A round is quick to begin and easy to pause between moves. There are no complicated menus to learn: the challenge comes from recognizing colors, predicting where a bubble will land and deciding whether to aim for an immediate match or prepare a better one. That makes the game a good fit for a short break or a longer attempt to improve a personal best.
Start with one run and focus on one skill at a time. Practice accuracy first, then look for support bubbles and drops. You can play the free Bubble Shooter game whenever you are ready.
